The Jackson Hole Writers Conference provides community based programs in literature, a fairly new addition to the festival season. The growth of literature in the area has been a slow one, but this new conference is aiming to bring more focus on all aspects of creative writing and as time goes on, the funds raised will establish a regular writers' conference annually. It also focuses on education and the introduction of school students to writing and literature.
