CVAA Art Fairs- The Mountain Artists' Rendezvous Art Fair

The Mountain Artists' Rendezvous Art Fair (MAR) is the primary fund raising event for the Art Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting excellence in the visual arts. Funds generated by the Mountain Artists' Rendezvous help support and develop their art education programs for children and adults, as well as programs for artists and aspiring artists through exhibitions, scholarships and classes in Jackson Hole. The MAR helps fulfill the Art Association's mission of bringing contemporary art to Jackson Hole. Works in the show range from fine craft to fine art. Most price ranges are represented allowing something for everyone. more info

The Mountain Artists' Rendezvous Art Fair is a juried show. The jury consists of a panel of seven artists and art patrons selected for their knowledge of particular media. All applicants are juried anonymously. Scoring is based on quality/technique, originality and sale-ability. No dealers, agents or representatives are allowed. Because of space limitations, participation in the Fair is determined by: a) highest cumulative jury score; and b) the number of spaces fairly allotted each medium to present a balanced show.

Art Fairs are held at Miller Park, a city park conveniently located downtown, northwest of the Town Square on Millward and Deloney. Miller Park is large, grassy, and easily seen from Broadway. Hotels and restaurants adjacent to the park make it easy for any visitor to enjoy.
