Grand Teton Music Festival
The Grand Teton Music Festival offers something for everyone. Choose from the Festivals Summer Schedule of over 40 concerts featuring full orchestra, chamber music, spotlight, and childrens concerts.
The Festival Orchestra has been described as "one of the worlds great orchestras." Comprised of leading professional orchestra musicians from around the country, this all-star ensemble is in residence during June, July and August. more info
Summer concerts begin at 8 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) and feature:
Tuesday and Wednesday - chamber music and guest artists
Thursday - "Spotlight" concerts with unique musical themes
Friday and Saturday - the full Festival Orchestra and outstanding soloists performing masterpieces of the symphonic repertoire
Or if you are visiting during ski season, take advantage of the Winter Concert Series after a long day on the slopes!
Concerts are held in the 740-seat Walk Festival Hall, which is acclaimed for its intimacy and superb acoustics. Walk Festival Hall is located in Teton Village, just 12 miles northwest of the town of Jackson. The Resort offers a full range of dining and lodging options before and after your concert.
Attend Jackson Hole's favorite annual 4th of July celebration Music In The Hole. With a mountain backdrop and the occasional eagle soaring overhead, this free outdoor concert gives new meaning to "America the Beautiful." In 2004, Music In The Hole will feature:
- The Festival Orchestra led by Larry Rachleff
- Favorite local entertainers and musicians
- A rousing Patriotic and Festive program featuring "Old Fashioned" July 4 favorites
- The largest single day gathering of attendees at any event in Jackson Hole, a fabulous day to join with your friends, family and neighbors to celebrate our nation's independence!
