In January, coming to Jackson Hole, Wyoming has a special meaning. It's time for the Jackson Hole Winter Carnival! Many come to enjoy the skiing and some come to just bask in the winter landscapes, but the winter celebration tops all.
The whole family will love the dog sled races, many ski races and Snowshoe Hikes and safaris. The Wildlife Film Festival is something that shouldn't be passed up during the carnival.
In town you can visit the National Museum of Wildlife Art. You can browse the shops around the Town Square and have the chance to sample some of the incredible chocolate offered.
