Climbers Ranch in Grand Teton National Park provides visitors with an experience on a real working ranch and access to mountain recreation that is great for everyone, young or old.

Overview

Grand Teton Climbers Ranch services the needs of mountain climbers and outdoor enthusiasts for years, and is a centrally located and warm accommodation for vacationers from all over. Close to plenty of recreational opportunities, it also offers incredible views of the Tetons.

Location

Teton Climbers Ranch is three miles south of Jenny Lake and four miles north of Grand Teton Park Headquarters in Moose.

Nearby Attractions & Activities

Get in some climbing adventures in Grand Teton and then take a lake shuttle across Jenny Lake. From the trailhead there you can take one of the park’s most popular hikes to Inspiration Point and Hidden Falls. Climb up through Cascade Canyon to really get a bird’s eye view of the park.

There are plenty of activities near the Climbers Ranch. Drive to Jackson, Wyoming for a visit, stopping at all the overlooks along the way. Head south of Jackson to try your hand at some exciting whitewater rafting on the Snake River.

There are many hiking trails through the forests, and you can get in some terrific wildlife viewing.

Details & Services

With dormitory type accommodations, Climbers Ranch is similar to a European hostel, with quaint log cabins providing lodging for four to eight people. There is a nearby cook shelter, as well as showers and washrooms, a library and a lounge. You must provide your own bedding, cookware and towels, etc. No pets are allowed.

Climbers Ranch is open from approximately 2 June to 28 September. Hours of the office are from 8 am to 10 pm.
