Accessibility
Grand Teton National Park provides memorable visits for people of all abilities and interests by providing ADA accessibility to a wide range of services and sights.
PLAN AHEAD
You can obtain a Grand Teton Accessibility Brochure from the National Park Service prior to your visit at their website, or upon your arrival, at all of the Park entrances. Also available either online or at the entrances is a copy of the Park newspaper, which lists all the accessible interpretive activities.
VISITOR CENTERS
Accessible restrooms, TDD phones for the hearing impaired, designated parking spaces, curb cuts and accessible entrances can be found at Moose, Jenny Lake, Colter Bay and Flagg Ranch. However, the restrooms and exhibits at the Colter Bay Museum may require some assistance.
CAMPING
Partially accessible restrooms are located at the Gros Ventre, Jenny Lake and Colter Bay campgrounds. The restrooms at these sites are on somewhat level ground. Access to the restrooms that are on hilly ground at the Lizard Creek and Signal Mountain campgrounds is more difficult. Inquire for the most accessible sites at the individual campgrounds.
There are some minimal campsites along Grassy Lake Road, west of Flagg Ranch, which are easy to get to by any vehicle and have accessible toilets. Other accessible camping facilities can be found at Flagg Ranch.
LODGING
Every lodging facility has some accessible units. If you require an ADA accessible unit, it is wise to make a reservation.
RESTAURANTS
ADA accessible facilities are located at Flagg Ranch, Leeks Marina, Jackson Lake Lodge and Jenny Lake Lodge.
ACTIVITIES
Some hiking trails are accessible, with asphalt surfaces, minimal grades and good views. Wayside exhibits/viewpoints and overlooks are ADA accessible with curb cuts and designated parking.
