Snow King Resort

Snow is "King" at Snow King Mountain! Practice double axles, catch big air riding snow tubes, or strap on a brain bucket and demonstrate your skiing/snowboard carving skills at this popular Wyoming resort. Celebrate 70 years of Winter fun at Snow King from December 5, 2009 to March 28, 2010.

Locals and visitors eagerly anticipate Winter at Snow King Mountain. Easily located by walking or via shuttle from Jackson Hole, "The Town Hill" is the place to be! Afterward, lodging, food, and drinks are all available on site and in Jackson.

Skiing and Snowboarding

All skiers will find their groove on 400 acres of 50% groomed trails (base elevation 6, 200 feet, top elevation 7,808 feet). Tom Fortune, Director of Recreation, notes Snow King's best kept secret is "some of the runs ride really well after even just a few inches of new snow." Enjoy the view before schussing from the triple chair and two double chairlifts, and check out the new Terrain Park. And there’s night skiing under the lights Tuesday through Saturday on more that 110 acres!

For tickets, call (307) 734-3136 or Snow King Chairlift Ticket Booth at (307) 734-3194.

Tubing

Families can enjoy speeding down King Tubes, a well-maintained, groomed hill with cushioned safety barriers and tow rope to the top. Tubers must be at least 3 and ½ feet tall.

For information and holiday hours, call the King Tubes Hotline (307) 734-TUBE (8823).

Ice Skating

Before lacing your skates, call the skating hotlines. Public, Freestyle, and Hockey ice time availability varies with special on-ice events including hockey tournaments, ice shows, and figure skating competitions.
