It can be a thrilling experience to tour around Jackson Hole, Wyoming on a snowmobile. You will seem to float over the snow as you travel the meadows and trails. Watch wildlife like deer, wolves, elk and much more. Some incredible geography is to be found in Yellowstone and Grand Teton.
You can rent a machine and go off exploring on your own, but sometimes it's best to find an outfitter who will tour you into the wilderness of Gros Ventre or Granite Hot Springs. The area is a fascinating a display of all Mother Nature has to offer in this wonderland of winter.
The truly adventurous may want to try a two or three day trip, but you can also rent by the hour. You must remember, however, that Yellowstone has restrictions on snowmobiles within the park boundaries, so you should check with the local park service to get any details.
