Fly Fishing

  • Snake River: Great cutthroat trout fishing from the Jackson Lake Dam to the entrance of the Snake River Canyon.
  • Gros Ventre River: Best in late summer. Look for cutthroats
  • Cottonwood Creek: This small creek is right in the heart of the park. Easy to access.
  • Buffalo Fork: Great cutthroat trout river, just east of Moran.
  • Pacific Creek: Offers a short season between spring run off and low waters of late summer, but still fun fishing

Ice Fishing

  • Jackson Lake: One of the only places in the park that allows snowmobiles is on the ice covered Jackson Lake.
