Scenic Float Trips North

River
© Vertical Media
Experience an outdoor adventure on the Snake River. The northern section of the Snake River in the Jackson Hole valley begins in Grand Teton National Park, below the Jackson Lake Dam. The National Park Service regulates the north section of the Snake River from the dam to the National Park boundary. This stretch of river is ideal for scenic float trips and excellent for wildlife viewing. There are several companies that specialize in scenic float tours and are educators in the ecology, geology and biology of the area. Rafting companies operate under permit from the Grand Teton National Park Service and the number of launches per summer are limited. Enjoy the beautiful Teton scenery with all of its wonders on the Snake River.
