Buses are not only designed for local passengers, but also provide the perfect transportation for tourists during the winter, spring, fall and summer months. In fact, there are private services as well that accommodate varied group sizes, including trips for special groups, including wedding, skiing, touring and other parties.

Tours and bus services abound in the Grand Teton area, allowing visitors and locals to enjoy the many wonders of the Teton Mountain Range, nearby resorts and other recreational spots without concern about driving or parking. These services run year round and are available for public or private needs, as well as being accessible from varied locations in and around the mountain areas.
When heading into the Teton Mountains, getting from the closest airport in Jackson Hole is not a difficulty. A special shuttle bus service runs from December to March and June to September to take tourists to lodgings in and around the mountains, including drop offs at private accommodation. Prices are varied and include stop offs in Jackson, the Aspens and Teton Village. Prices start at $15 for one way tickets and go as high as $42 for a round trip.
The Jackson Hole Express bus service runs daily from Salt Lake City, Pocatello, Idaho Falls and Jackson Hole. Tickets are bought on board and start at $5 for children and $10 for adults.
Tours are available during the summer months of the Grand Tetons. Special guides share their knowledge of the local history, geology and ecology of the area. Special coaches and mini buses allow for air-conditioned comfort and include information packages and plenty of stops for taking memorable photos. Prices vary and group tours can be arranged.
During the winter, many people flock to the Grand Targhee Ski Resort, just outside Jackson and on the western side of the Grand Tetons. Chartered bus services are available for private hire, including wedding, skiing, dinner, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, tubing and other parties. Prices start at $25 per person and can include special stops, tours, private guides and meal packages.
