Jackson Hole Airport Shuttles

While there is no public transportation within Grand Teton National Park, you can enjoy a variety guided tours of the park. Getting around the town of Jackson is easy with a free public bus system.

Bus Tours

Bus tours of Grand Teton provide a comfortable way for visitors to see the sights without having to pay attention to the road or worry about parking. Tours usually run year round, although certain areas of the park are closed to vehicle traffic in the winter. With a bus tour of the park, you have the advantage of learning all about Grand Teton National Park, from local history to the geology of the park. Guides share their knowledge with you and make the trip that much more memorable.

Public Bus System

Note that there is not public bus system within Grand Teton National Park. Car rentals are available in Jackson or at the airport. There is also a handful of companies offer sightseeing and wildlife tours of the park.

The Teton County Public Bus Service (known as the START bus) provides service all around Jackson Hole. You can get to and from Jackson Town Square, Teton Village, Teton Valley and Star Valley easily. Take your bike, because the buses all have bike racks.

Within the town of Jackson there is no charge for bus rides. One-way from Jackson to Teton Village is $3 (age 8 and under is free with adult). Jackson to Star Valley or Teton Valley is $8 (age 13 and under half price). You can get monthly passes, season passes and discount books as well for great prices.

Times of runs vary but most often are between 15 to 30 minutes during the day. You can pick up a schedule at most hotels, motels, at the bus stops or on the buses.
