Buffalo Fork River

The Buffalo Fork of the Snake River flows into Grand Teton National Park near Moran Juncition. It is a picturesque waterway that feeds into the Snake River and is a highlight for many avid fly fisherman.

You can access the Buffalo Fork at a number of different access points along the Togwotee Pass road (Hwy 26/287). While a short hike might be required from your car, there are a number of places to drop a line into these crystal clear waters.

This scenic section of water is also great for canoeing. There are beautiful views of the Teton Range from many areas along the Buffalo Fork.

You can access a handful of hiking trails up near Togwotee Mountain Lodge which offer great views of Buffalo Valley and the Tetons.
